Spring...at last
can't keep working for my own sake
a few more print workshops going on
and some with schools too.

it's been a busy year
where's it all gone?

A busy start to the month [loads of Pisceans]
with loads of work to make for various exhibitions
especially for Boxbird's exhibition in May -
'Cinemascope'
Some exciting and enjoyable work indeed...

- at the studio, we've got the painting space rocking and are collaborating on each others' work with stencils, scribble, paint dribble, collage and screens
lots of fun...very liberating...

- and bits of animation for some web games on the go...

also going to be featured on the cover of April's edition of Brighton Visitor magazine
with the Dayglow Attack...time to print some new ones!!

What a month!!
My dear friend Jim at BDI has decided to quit his screen printing business
as times are too damn tough - a very sad end to a most joyous era...
but on the up side, his workmate Dan is buying some of the kit from him to start business in Lewes and I'm joining him sharing the space -
so my new tiny space was a little short lived - but now we have a space that we can roam in and be 'real artists' - terribly exciting!!

Hibernation would be nice...
but am loving the new space -
nice to shut myself away in my box
and get to business...too much stuff though
think it's time for a boot sale, maybe a print sale...

preparing for my first screenprinting workshop...
getting excited about that...

Studio move imminent...
2009 will be a year of getting my head around some new projects -
taking screen printing to schools as a workshop
which will be lots of fun and very satisfying...

Well... I seem to be producing work,
a few private commissions on the go aswell
which are a nice change of style -
some more Greedio-bizniss a-brewing...
and Aretha the Queen of Soul, painting + print -
a beautiful start to a new series...

Things are beginning to swing again
but before we know it Christmas will be upon us
is there no end to the madness of spending?

So the kids are back to school
our wet holidays are done
we could do with a week in the sun to recover!
Energy to create new ideas is low
and I need to earn some money...
what to do?

mmmm no news as such
getting a bit frustrated not working
need to explode onto a wall sized canvas!!

Some seeds have been sown
but nothing solid has grown...
fingers crossed....

so called summer comes
which means I must spend more time with the kids
and less time working...
hopefully they'll inspire me with something remarkable....

Our Open House has been a success
and we were awarded 1st Prize by the Latest 7 judges!!
Marvelous!!
However, organizing and attending my bro's stag-doo
has utterly exhausted me!!

where did it go?
time keeps slipping...
but I managed to do some more printing
AND carpet the stairs at our studio
in preparation for our BRAG Open House Exhibition...

There's not enough time to produce all of my ideas!!
I think I need to move in to my studio this month...
but the kids won't let me...

At last!! After years of thinking about doing a website MNKY has finally sorted it out!!
